For the ones who get knocked down and rise anyway. A scarlet macaw holds tight to its branch, chest lifted, wrapped in washes of gold, blush, and sky blue. Resisting the resistance, in full color. Painted for The Belize Collection after the walls at Tesoro Island Resort, a private island off the coast of Belize, were already full.
Choose your way to own itSpend according to desire, not apology. The edition and the print are real ways to own the work, not a consolation for missing the original.
Painted for Tesoro Island and now living with its collector. The hand-embellished edition and the print are the ways left to bring it home.
Once collected, the original will never be recreated.
An archival canvas of the painting that comes back to my easel. I add brushwork by hand to each one, so your number carries marks that exist on no other. Hand-signed and numbered on the front.
Museum-quality giclée on hot-press fine art paper, with the story of the original. Take it as the print alone or framed and ready to hang. The photo shows the framed print at wall scale.
I haven't made it to Red Bank yet. It's at the top of my Belize list. Each year, wild scarlet macaws gather in this tiny southern village and paint the trees red. I named this one for them, and for every time I had to get back up.
Not this painting again. A painting built for your wall, your light, and the animal or place that matters to you, in the same palette if you want it. Five spots open, with work beginning January 2027.
No. It is a gallery-wrapped canvas with painted edges and a hanging wire, so it is ready to hang as is.
