The Story

The Story Behind The Belize Collection

For three years I painted for an island that was still being built. Five cabanas, a honeymoon suite with its own pier, a lobby, a bar, a yoga studio. Every wall needed artwork, and I asked for the creative direction.

I got one word. Vibrant.

So I went home to a garage studio in the Arizona desert, opened a blank canvas, and sat with that word for weeks. The more time I spent in Belize, walking the land the paintings were made for, the more I understood it. Vibrant was never a color. It was the feeling of a place where nothing stays still: the jungle greens that change by the hour, the water shifting from turquoise to indigo, the hibiscus open at first light.

Not a place copied. A feeling captured.

Twenty original oil paintings came out of that word. On October 15 they hang together in one room for the first time, and five of them have never left my studio.

Together, the collection is a personal interpretation of Belize: vivid, wild, expressive, and full of life.

Failure is inevitable, but so is tranformation. Fail fast, fail hard, and extract the lesson from each.

Why should i say 'yes'

Saying yes to your crazy dream matters because it’s proof that possibility exists outside of the boundaries we set for ourselves. Most people live their lives negotiating with fear — waiting until they feel ready, secure, or guaranteed success. But the truth is, none of us ever feel ready. Saying yes shows that courage comes before clarity.

Can dreams really change my life?

Yep. They'll dirsupt it, reshape it, and elevate it in ways you never imagined. Saying 'yes' doesnt just change your life, it changes you.
