Sizing

For the ones who stopped searching and found it was in them all along. Eyes closed, she rests in an open scallop shell while light pours down through the water and pearls gather at her feet. She isn't looking for treasure. She is the treasure. Painted for the lobby at Tesoro Island Resort, a private island off the coast of Belize.

Botticelli's Venus rose from the sea in a scallop shell. I gave mine a tail. That same shell lives in the Tesoro logo, and our private chef swears a red-headed mermaid once called his name in the middle of the night.
